We have 5″-10″ of new snow and are firing up the snow guns. We’re hoping to open SOON! If you haven’t done so already, enter your information in the bottom right of the page to get notified on powder days!
It is great to see the snow coming down it is hard to tell how much we have received as the strong winds have blown and drifted the snow all over the ski area, unfortunately we have not received enough snow to open the slopes or the tubing hill at this time. We will be watching the weather and looking to make snow when we can. The pattern looks to get stormy and colder as we move into December. Snow on the ground by Thanksgiving is always a good sign for the upcoming winter! Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving. Keep thinking snow!!
After such a great weekend with good conditions and lots of sunshine we were hoping for more of the same but apparently mother nature doesn’t feel the same way. Thank you to all our customers that came out to support us this season. Even though the season was shorter than all of us would have liked we did have many good days of skiing/snowboarding. Have a great spring and summer and let’s start thinking snow right now for next season! (by the way, next season has a lot of potential to be a very good winter)
After last weekend being such a great weekend with good conditions and lots of sunshine we were hoping for more of the same but mother nature apparently doesn’t feel the same way. Thank you to all our customers for coming out to support us this season. Even though the season was shorter than we all would have liked we did have many good days of skiing/snowboarding. Hope you all have a great spring and summer and let’s start thinking snow right now for next season! (by the way, next season has a lot of potential to be very good winter)
Sunday is looking like a great day to ski, snowboard or just hang out in the tubing park, the forecast is for sunny skies, mid 30’s and calm winds and the ski conditions are very good too!! The weather next week is not looking very good and this could be our last weekend, we hope not but it could be. Don’t miss a great day to be on the slopes, hope to see you there!
Despite the weather that mother nature has thrown at us the past two weeks, the main trails are in good shape, the tubing park will be operating this weekend and all lifts will be running. Don’t judge our conditions from your backyard. We have SNOW!!
Mother Nature continues to be as uncooperative as she has been most of this winter, after receiving over 4″ of snow this morning, the snow mixed with rain, then changed to rain, then to freezing rain and around 3pm back to snow. We have received around 4″ of snow since the change over and we will be hard at work getting the slopes and tubing park ready to open for Wednesday. The good news, snow is always good. The bad news we did not need this kind of storm during the winter break. We will be back open Wednesday and hope to see you there!
With the recent cold weather we have been very busy pumping out the snow! We are now working on Suicide and our terrain area. The goal is to have suicide open and our features and boxes up for the weekend! Now if only that forecast for sunshine this weekend can come true…
The first weekend of the season was a great success! Thank you to all our customers who came out with such short notice. The combination of natural snow and man made held up great and with a little more help from mother nature over the weekend the conditions turned out better than expected, we even got to run the t-bar on Sunday! We are busy cranking out the snow and will be back open Wednesday night 5pm to 10pm! See you then!
